These days with the economy in flux, overhead and office space are burdens for entrepreneurs. However there’s a new business in town that’s gaining popularity with women.

Tuesday night at Fuse restaurant in downtown Dallas there was a women’s only event.

The Booty Parlor is a ‘sexy social’ movement that’s sweeping the nation, and for ladies only.

“Oh I like this. It smells good,” echoes through the room.

At the Booty Parlor party in Dallas a sales representative explains, “Women get to touch feel play and try everything.”

It’s one of hundreds held across the nation, each party gets to showcase products for women.

The company founder and celebrity lifestyle expert, Dana Myers, says it’s about a women’s recessionary-proof survival movement as well, “Boosts a women sexiness and self confidence and inspires her to have sexier experiences both in and out of the bedroom.”

Dana started the company in Los Angeles in 2005, and other local women’s lifestyle advisors say it’s about empowering and inspiring women to achieve their goals… From the bedroom, to the bank.

Cassie McGowan of Dallas serves as lifestyle advisor for the company says, “I get to bring a sexy boutique party to every woman’s home. I show you a fun and frisky way to have fun with your boyfriends, your husbands.”

Party goers seem to enjoy the party, like Anna Lama, “I absolutely love this idea, and I like the idea of the bubble bath and the candles. I haven’t tried this before, but I like the idea that it’s here.”

Bedroom advice is given at the parties which are usually held in private home settings. The parties also give tips to dream, walk, talk and think confidence, and there are products for sale like kissable body topping, and a $49 ‘bath kitten’ set.

The Booty Parlor is somewhat like Avon or Mary Kay, in that individual reps can start their own business.

Gloria Salas is interested in selling. “This is great. I think I would definitely have a party and get some of my girlfriends to come out and have a good time.”

Dana says of parties “in a home atmosphere women feel more comfortable to really talk about what’s going on in their lives and to really exchange tips and tricks.”

Jessica Smith has enjoyed her time at the party, “How fun! It’s a great way to get together to have a party with your friends get together, get a little naughty, but still with some class.”
